Short historical overview: The P-51D Mustang was one of the most important Allied fighter planes, widely used by the United States Army Air Forces (USAAF) during World War II. A historical example of Mustang use is escorting bombers during deep raids over Germany in 1944-1945. The D version gun bay was adapted for six Browning M2 12.7 mm machine guns with ammunition containers, and their realistic representation in the model significantly increases the display value of the replica.

Material and special features: The set is made from high-quality photo-etched sheet, allowing for exceptional reproduction of details unattainable in traditional plastic models. The parts are thin, precise, and dedicated to supplementing and highlighting the level of detail of the Tamiya model.

Eduard 32721 is the perfect choice for demanding modelers who want to elevate the realism and detail of their P-51D model to the highest level. The set is recommended for advanced modelers with experience in working with photo-etched parts (difficulty level 4/5), but thanks to the clear instructions, it can also be attempted at earlier stages of modeling skill development. Without a doubt, it will add a touch of "life" to any World War II aviation collection.
