Historical information

The ZIS-4 was one of the less common T-34 guns – used during World War II, mainly in 1941-1942. It was mounted both at the Kharkiv factory and at other plants in the USSR. While it provided excellent performance against German tanks, its costly production meant relatively few were made. T-34/76 tanks equipped with this gun took part, among others, in operations on the Eastern Front.
