Scale
1/32

What does the model scale mean?

The model scale designation, for example, 1:30, means that the model is 30 times smaller than the original. Scale determines the proportion, not the resolution or level of detail.

  • Models with a smaller number after the colon (e.g., 1:48, 1:32) are larger and have more detail.
  • Scales with a larger number (e.g., 1:164, 1:200, 1:350) are smaller—good for collections, dioramas, or displaying many models together.

Historical Information

The F/A-18C Hornet is an American carrier-capable fighter and strike aircraft, designed by McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing). It has been operated by the United States Navy (US Navy), United States Marine Corps (USMC), and other allied nations, including Australia, Canada, and Switzerland. The C version was introduced into service in the mid-1980s and remains in service to this day. The F/A-18C Hornet has participated in many armed conflicts, including Operation Desert Storm (Gulf War), Operation Southern Watch, and the conflict in Afghanistan — period of use: Cold War, modern times.

Why choose Aires 2036?

  • Top-tier quality – resin with excellent hardness and detail fidelity.
  • Exceptionally realistic replication of the internal and external structure of the GE F404 engine nozzles.
  • Easy installation in place of the Academy kit's plastic parts.
  • Open configuration — creates a striking effect in highly realistic models.

This product is dedicated to advanced and intermediate modelers (assembly difficulty level: 4/5), looking to improve the realism and detail of their 1:32 scale aircraft models. Highly recommended for collectors and military aviation enthusiasts seeking a professional-quality final result.
