PZL.24B/E – a brief history

The PZL.24 is a Polish fighter aircraft designed by the engineering team of Zygmunt Puławski at the State Aviation Works. Although it was not used in combat by the Polish Air Force, the PZL.24B and PZL.24E models were export successes, going to Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, and Turkey. These fighters were known for their all-metal construction, enclosed cockpit, and the distinctive "Puławski wing."
