Tamiya 35282 Char de combat français B1 bis (1/35)

Tamiya 35282 French Battle Tank B1 bis (1/35) – Plastic scale model kit

The Tamiya 35282 French Battle Tank B1 bis model in 1/35 scale is an excellent replica of the legendary French medium tank from World War II. The original B1 bis tank was one of the most powerful armored vehicles used in combat in 1940 during the French campaign. Thanks to its outstanding armor and armament—including a 75 mm hull gun and a 47 mm turret gun—the vehicle posed a serious obstacle for German armored forces during the invasion of France.

The French armed forces used B1 bis tanks between 1937 and 1940, especially during defensive actions against German Wehrmacht units. Despite its impressive technical parameters, the B1 bis was very costly and difficult to produce, resulting in a limited number of units at the front. One of the most famous episodes involving these tanks was the Battle of Stonne, where the B1 bis proved its combat value.
