Scale
1/35

What does the model scale mean?

The model scale designation, for example, 1:30, means that the model is 30 times smaller than the original. Scale determines the proportion, not the resolution or level of detail.

  • Models with a smaller number after the colon (e.g., 1:48, 1:32) are larger and have more detail.
  • Scales with a larger number (e.g., 1:164, 1:200, 1:350) are smaller—good for collections, dioramas, or displaying many models together.

  • Product Name: Panzer Art FI35-040 Waffen-SS MG-42 ammo carrier 1/35
  • Category: Resin model created using resin casting – scale modeling figure for assembly and painting in 1/35 scale
  • Purpose: Figure for dioramas, collectible military layouts, and as an addition to armored vehicle models from World War II

The Panzer Art FI35-040 Waffen-SS MG-42 ammo carrier model in 1/35 scale is a high-quality resin figure depicting a Waffen-SS soldier carrying ammunition for the famous German MG-42 machine gun. The figure features exceptional detail precision not achievable in most plastic models – meticulously recreated equipment elements, uniform creases, realistic Waffen-SS style uniform, and a highly detailed MG-42 ammo box make this a product for true historical modeling connoisseurs.

The model depicts a soldier used by the Third Reich, specifically the Waffen-SS units, during World War II (1939–1945). The figure can be successfully used in dioramas depicting the Eastern and Western fronts, urban battles, and defensive positions of the Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS. The soldier is equipped with characteristic field gear and is carrying an ammunition box for the MG-42 – a universal machine gun widely used by German armed forces since 1942. The MG-42 gained a reputation as the most effective machine gun of World War II, used in battles on the Eastern Front, Normandy, the Ardennes, and Italy.

The product is made from high-quality resin, allowing for extremely sharp details – every detail of the uniform, combat gear straps, and face is recreated with attention to historical accuracy. The set contains no metal or photo-etched parts – it is entirely based on precise resin casting.

The Panzer Art FI35-040 Waffen-SS MG-42 ammo carrier 1/35 figure is ideal for advanced modelers and collectors of historical dioramas who seek the highest quality workmanship. The manufacturer recommends this model to those wishing to create realistic World War II battle scenes. The difficulty level is rated 3 out of 5, making it suitable for intermediate and experienced modelers, requiring some proficiency in working with resin and precise detail painting.
