• The Vs.Kfz. 617 Schwerer Minenräumer is another prototype armored minesweeper, mainly built in cooperation between Alkett, Krupp, and Mercedes-Benz. The machine was designed in 1942 for heavy engineering tasks on minefields. It featured heavy armor, massive wheels, and low speed.
