Scale
1/72

What does the model scale mean?

The model scale designation, for example, 1:30, means that the model is 30 times smaller than the original. Scale determines the proportion, not the resolution or level of detail.

  • Models with a smaller number after the colon (e.g., 1:48, 1:32) are larger and have more detail.
  • Scales with a larger number (e.g., 1:164, 1:200, 1:350) are smaller—good for collections, dioramas, or displaying many models together.

Armory Models AW72333 SH-60 Seahawk wheels w/ weighted tires 1/72 – Set of resin wheels for 1:72 scale helicopter

Armory Models AW72333 SH-60 Seahawk wheels w/ weighted tires 1/72 is a high-quality resin detail-up set designed for SH-60 Seahawk helicopter models in 1:72 scale. The product is an ideal enhancement for base plastic kits from manufacturers such as Hasegawa and Hobby Boss. The set includes realistically reproduced wheels with so-called weighted tires, which add the highest level of authenticity to the model.

The SH-60 Seahawk is an American multi-role helicopter developed by Sikorsky Aircraft, and has been extensively used by the United States Navy from the 1980s to the present day (modern times). This machine is essential for anti-submarine warfare (ASW), search and rescue (SAR), transport, and support of special operations. The SH-60 was used, among other places, during Operation Desert Storm and in anti-terrorism missions after 2001.

  • Scale: 1:72
  • User country: United States and NATO countries
  • Period of use: Modern times (since the 1980s)
  • Material: Resin, casting technique ensures very precise detail reproduction
  • Set contents: 3 detailed wheels for SH-60 with varying tire deformation, improved tread texture, elements ready for painting
  • Category: Detail-up set, resin model (accessory for plastic models)

We recommend this set to all advanced modelers and military aviation enthusiasts who want to give their models outstanding realism. The detail, deformation under weight, and exceptional casting quality provide an effect unattainable in standard plastic kits. The product is an excellent enhancement for modeling contest participants and collectors seeking maximum authenticity.

Assembly difficulty: 2/5 – recommended for those with experience in detail-up modeling and working with resin.

By choosing the AW72333 set, you are investing in extraordinary precision and an improvement of realism for your 1:72 scale SH-60 Seahawk model.
