Scale
1/35

What does the model scale mean?

The model scale designation, for example, 1:30, means that the model is 30 times smaller than the original. Scale determines the proportion, not the resolution or level of detail.

  • Models with a smaller number after the colon (e.g., 1:48, 1:32) are larger and have more detail.
  • Scales with a larger number (e.g., 1:164, 1:200, 1:350) are smaller—good for collections, dioramas, or displaying many models together.

MiniArt 35370 GERMAN TANK RIDERS. WINTER UNIFORM 1944-45 1/35 – Set of German Soldier Figures in Winter Uniforms

MiniArt 35370 GERMAN TANK RIDERS. WINTER UNIFORM 1944-45 1/35 is a high-quality set of four plastic German soldier figures from the final phase of World War II. Offered by the renowned company MiniArt, this set is a perfect addition to any 1/35 scale diorama or German armored vehicle model.

History and Context of Use

The included figures portray German Panzergrenadiers from 1944-45, dressed in characteristic winter field uniforms primarily used on the Eastern Front and in the Ardennes. The "tank riders" theme—infantry accompanying tanks during movement and urban combat—was typical for German military doctrine in the closing stages of World War II, especially during retreat operations, when rapid infantry support for tank crews was crucial. Such soldiers were commonly present during the fighting for Budapest, Operation "Wacht am Rhein", and the Battle of Berlin.

Product Features

  • Scale: 1/35 – compatible with most armored vehicle models and dioramas in this scale
  • Country of use: Third Reich / Nazi Germany
  • Historical period: World War II, years 1944-1945

  • Category: plastic assembly model – infantry figure set

Who Do We Recommend the MiniArt 35370 Set For?

This set is highly regarded by advanced modelers as well as moderately experienced enthusiasts looking to bring realism and dynamic action to their dioramas or models of late WWII German tanks. The highly detailed representation of winter uniforms, realistic figure poses, and the broad selection of weapons and accessories make it an ideal product for those striving for maximum realism in their work.

We rate the assembly difficulty at 3/5. Assembly should pose no major problems for intermediate modelers, but the details and painting requirements may also offer an attractive challenge for professionals.

MiniArt 35370 GERMAN TANK RIDERS. WINTER UNIFORM 1944-45 1/35 is a must-have for any military or historical modeling enthusiast wanting to capture the authenticity of winter scenes from the European Front of World War II.
