Scale
1/72

What does the model scale mean?

The model scale designation, for example, 1:30, means that the model is 30 times smaller than the original. Scale determines the proportion, not the resolution or level of detail.

  • Models with a smaller number after the colon (e.g., 1:48, 1:32) are larger and have more detail.
  • Scales with a larger number (e.g., 1:164, 1:200, 1:350) are smaller—good for collections, dioramas, or displaying many models together.

Omask 57028 Brewster Buffalo mask (for Hasegawa / Hobby 2000) 1/72 is a professional set of modeling masks, specially designed for the glazing of the Brewster Buffalo aircraft in 1/72 scale, compatible with Hasegawa and Hobby 2000 kits. This top-quality product enables perfect and quick preparation of the canopy for painting, providing the highest level of precision and convenience.

  • Category: Glazing painting masks for scale models
  • Scale: 1/72
  • Application: Brewster Buffalo aircraft models (Hasegawa / Hobby 2000)
  • Material: Self-adhesive masking foil, precisely laser-cut
  • Compatibility: Plastic models
  • Set includes: Masks for all canopy glazing panels

The Brewster Buffalo is an American fighter aircraft from World War II, used mainly by the air forces of Finland, Great Britain, the Netherlands, and the United States. It was known for its distinctive, multi-panel canopy, which presents a significant challenge when it comes to precise painting. The Buffalo was in service from 1939 to 1945, excelling especially in operations in the Finnish theater against the Soviet air force.

Omask 57028 provides an ideal fit for the Brewster Buffalo’s glazing panels in 1/72 scale, enabling fast and accurate masking even of the smallest details. The masks are precisely laser-cut to ensure sharp, clean edges. This prevents paint from bleeding under the mask and eliminates the need for time-consuming manual tape cutting. The self-adhesive material adheres well and leaves no residue after removal – suitable for both brush and airbrush painting.

Why do we recommend Omask 57028? It is an excellent choice for intermediate and advanced modelers (difficulty level 2/5) who value precision and saving time when working on detailed glazed components. It will also be an invaluable tool for anyone building historical WWII aircraft models who wants a perfect canopy finish matching the real airplane’s appearance.

The Omask 57028 set guarantees quality and reliability – choose a professional solution and take your modeling projects to the next level!
