The ICM 72144 MiG-29 with JDAM-ER bombs plastic model kit in 1/72 scale is an excellent choice for enthusiasts of modern combat aircraft and collectors of contemporary airplanes in the livery of the Ukrainian Air Forces. This set combines the classic silhouette of the Soviet MiG-29 fighter with Western precision weaponry JDAM-ER, reflecting the changes in armament realities on the 21st century battlefield.

The MiG-29 is one of the most recognizable fourth-generation fighters, which debuted in the USSR at the end of the 1970s. It entered service in 1983 and since then has actively participated in armed conflicts, including in the Balkans, Syria, Iraq, and—most recently—in combat operations over Ukraine during the Russo-Ukrainian war, which has continued since 2014 and intensified greatly after 2022. The variant presented here represents the modern Ukrainian upgrade, where the original armament has been replaced by state-of-the-art JDAM-ER (Joint Direct Attack Munition – Extended Range) guided bombs, increasing the range and precision of the attack.
